El Jardin

El Jardín Bilingual Parent Cooperative Preschool strives to provide
the best possible environment for children to develop, including opportunities for all children to learn two languages and to engage in developmentally appropriate play-based learning.

GED Distance Learning ongoing

Students meet weekly with a teacher to review their week’s study and receive materials for the next week. Options include both DVDs and workbooks, and students can take the Official GED Practice Tests before signing up for the actual GED Exams.

Jose Luis Avalos

As you can see, Jose Luis Avalos is very proud of all the certificates he has received from Watsonville/Aptos Adult Education. They include a WAAE Certificate of Completion of the ESL Program. He started in the beginning high class and took all the classes until he completed the Advanced Level as well as the job readiness class that helped him get into get his job and inspired him to get into CabrilloCollege. Marisela Vega

My name is Marisela Vega, I am from Michoacan, Mexico. I have been living in Watsonville since 2002. I have 2 children. They are 7 and 4 years old. When I first came to the United States I lived in Santa Cruz for 10 years, then I moved to Watsonville and started school at Watsonville/Aptos Adult Education. At the same time I was working as a cook at a Camp Ground in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was really hard work, because I had to work 10-12 hours 6 days a week.
