This comprehensive class is designed to enable school administrators,teachers, and support staff to more effectively interact with Spanish-speaking students, parents, and visitors in various school situations. It provides functional Spanish language skills useful in the school office and for classroom management, including: registering students, identifying students’ needs, communicating with students and parents, as well as Spanish terms for instructional management, safety issues and emergency situations. The emphasis is on oral communication, but we will also review basic Spanish grammar, learn education-related vocabulary, and discuss Hispanic culture. |
